pledges to invest Rs. 20,000 crores in the state; Reliance will repair Kalighat
Temple.
The state would receive a Rs 23000 crore investment from the
Reliance Group, which will also rebuild the Kalighat temple. The state will see
investments from the Reliance Group in Jio, Bio Energy, and Reliance Retail.
Mukesh Ambani, the CEO of Reliance Group, gave the state the
good news at the World Bengal Trade Conference. On Tuesday, the first day of
the conference, he was present on the BGBS stage. Mukesh Ambani was expected to
make a major announcement at the World Bengal Trade Conference, according to earlier
rumors. On this day, he gave the assurance that within the next three years,
Reliance Group would invest 23000 crores in the state. In the past few years,
the Reliance Group has already made investments of Rs 45,000 crore in the
state, he added.
Speaking at the conference stage, Mukesh Ambani offered a
number of assurances. Reliance would renovate the Kalighat temple, he said. In
this context, he stated, the old style will be renovated in order to build the
new temple while honoring its tradition and culture.
Bengal has been selected as one of Reliance's investment
locations, Ambani stated in his speech. Ambani pledged to invest Rs. 23,000
crore across three industries. Jio's Digital Life Solutions is one of these; it
will raise the standard of living for the average person. Development in the
fields of agriculture, culture, health care, and education will follow. He
promised that Jio Fiber will soon turn every Bengali household into a smart
home. According to the head of Reliance Group, this will result in the creation
of millions of entrepreneurs in the state.
In addition, Ambani stated that Reliance Retail is fast-growing its storefronts throughout the state. In the next two years, the state's Reliance Retail shop count is expected to surpass 1200, with approximately 1000 now operating. According to him, Reliance Retail is showcasing numerous Bengali companies to the entire.
